They have a large plastic nest box (converted from a plastic lunch box by Mr Cal) and two sock tunnels (old socks with the toes cut off pulled over short pieces of plastic plumbing pipes) to hide in! They have heaps of cut up bits of newspaper to fill these hiding places with. I know what mice like! Sometimes they just choose to hang out in full view in the hammock.

Sadly Trillian developed an inoperable mammary tumour. It grew extremely quickly and ended up being almost half her body weight. She died a little while ago. She had a short but happy time with me and raised 12 beautiful, healthy babies. She was eating well and running in the wheel (with difficulty, due to the size of the lump) right up to the end. The tumour began to develop at almost exactly the time her babies became independent of her.

There are only 5 girls in there Tails! The 7 boys have gone to a new home. It is very easy to clean out and the cat litter absorbs smell very well. Everything is replaceable or washable.

Trillian was very special.

It's not the best I've seen. Mickey and Minnie Mouse had a house with a kitchen, bathroom and garage, With a car in the garage. And a garden round the house.

I found this little tiny snakie on a busy bike path. I stopped to take his picture before I moved him to safety. He was so small no one would have seen him in time to keep from running over him with their bikes. They don't even seem interested in keeping from running over pedestrians.
