Hey folks, I've been doing a little housecleaning, and I seem to have lost the old computer advice thread. :dunce: I've tried every way I know to retreive it, but its gone with the breeze. :o

So, if any of you can recall any of the good advice you gave, post it here! :agree:

A good piece of advice I'd like to pass on is that one should always carry a clean hanky.

IVegan explained how to clean a mouse.

I asked how I could have an internet connection when my 'phone line is dead.

I would advise you, but nobody wants advice from an out-of-date legacy expert anymore.

Isn't there a blogthings quiz that could solve it?

Does anyone know about Scribus? Have you used it? It's a free open source desk top publishing system. It looks good. I am going to give it a try.
