I have always found this advertising concept morbidly fascinating; the portrayal of happy, frolicing animals who are thrilled to be slaughtered and eaten by people. The latest image that comes to my mind is that of a cow wearing a chef's hat and apron, smilingly presiding over a barbecue grill. :confused: :dizzy: :dunce:

Suicide Food (http://suicidefood.blogspot.com/) is a blog focussing on the prevalence of such images, and offers interesting and intelligent comments on the images presented. Some of the advertisements are really bizarre, such as the one of the dancing pig carving himself into sausage slices, but it deserves a look anyway, if only to try to find the answer to one of the most mysterious aspects of commercially appealing to the necrotarian consumer.
