Is anyone doing anything for the Great American Meatout (http://www.meatout.org/media/) today? I checked the website, but most of the events in my area took place over the weekend. I was actually surprised at how many different things were going on, since the local vegan get-togethers are practically non-existent. There is a big group of vegetarians in San Francisco, but I'd rather join a vegan group, myself.

I was impressed that so many high school students are involved with events. I noticed one of the events in NJ is sponsored by Felíne's former cat-sitter, the one who forgot to show up when Mr. TVT and I went away so Felíne went almost 5 days without food or water. :mad:
