i have done 2 successful swaps on other forums. one was food from the uk and another a cd mix, that was so good (just got it today). i was trying to think of something else that would be fun to swap. any ideas?

after hearing her ethereal voice, i want a cd from delicious!!!

i am like a kid, i love getting mail:)

:o Oh, thanks :) I can't wait to actually record the end product!

I would love to do a swap of many types of things! I also love getting mail and selecting things for my online friends :D

For anyone who can upload MP3's to thier computer from a disc, I can fit around 100 songs on one disc! I love to share music. I also could put together assorted body care items etc. and also local vegan treats.

As you can see, I am open! :D

Not saying that we can't swap too, but what about doing a cookbook exchange? People could post what vegan cookbooks they have and others can borrow them, so you'd eventually get it back?

I know there's cookbooks out there that I'd like to see, but don't want to buy if I won't use most of the recipes.

That is a cool idea but I wouldn't want to spend postage to send something that needed to have postage spent on it to send back to me...that alone would likely cost the same as just buying the book :o

I am interested in doing other exchanges though, or helping out with recipes from books people are interested in :)

Have you tried your local library? I've found several good vegan cookbooks there plus the library is part of a larger library sharing program so they can get books from about 30 other libraries. It was great help for me as I borrowed a few cookbooks that I found I didn't like so no waste of money. :)

Can you send a case of Cheezly? :D

Seriously, I did this a couple of times and it almost worked out great except for the last swap where I send mine off (spending over $75 including postage) to the UK and the other person never bothered to send anything back. She kept saying she was going to and just never did. Still, the previous times were great. I loved getting goodies from other countries. I'm in! :nanakiss:

If there is any way I can keep it cold so it doesn't go mouldy and off, then I'd love to send it to you. HMMMMMMMMMMMM wonder how?

Freeze it and pack it in dry ice? :o No...there just isn't any way (other than flying it over directly) I suppose :(

If Concorde still ran could have it over in no time. Only live a couple of miles from the airport!:D

I would but maybe when I am older and living in my own house I'm not sure my mum would be too pleased. She don't trust anyone! Not even me.

That's too bad, Witchy. My grandmother doesn't even trust forums.

Mum on the other hand is very supportive. We swap with some German friends of my dad's frequently.

I hope that there are no undergarment exchanges going on.

The exchange of foods is a good idea. Or toiletries and scenty things that can only be bought in one country.
