The APA targets the pet trade sector which makes money in the sale of reptiles and birds to UK residents. Many people purchasing these innocent beings appear oblivious of the traumatic journeys these sentients go through to get to their new unnatural (and often short term) homes.

There are ways to perhaps make people more aware visit the site apa (http://www.apa.org.uk/) where you will find some rather nice t-shirts for only £9.99 not bad eh! :agree:

I think I remember reading somewhere (once again, I'm a fountain of non-information  ) that Heathrow airport is the world's largest conveyor of illegaly transported animals, reptiles, birds etc.

Even Liza Minelli got caught smuggling her pooches into the UK from the US many years ago. :agree:

Boo to Heathrow, no wonder I leave the fly to the birds, bats, insects and specialised squirrels! :)
