Great Ape Project

Short article in the Guardian today by Peter Singer about the Great Ape Project.

I think this project is very interesting. While it in no way meets what we as vegans would want it is argualble that it is a first step.

I understand that New Zealand has adopted the principles of the Great Ape Project.

Mr Cal and I signed "A Declaration on Great Apes" in 1994 and have a letter saying that we are among the first donors to "The Great Ape Project". :)

I too believe it is a start. It could lead to more consideration for other animals. :crossfingers:
