Brazil Nut Pate

1 cup Brazil nuts
1 clove garlic
Sea salt to taste (1/4 teaspoon is good)
2 cm fresh ginger (optional)
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Fabulous served on celery sticks, or rounds of fresh beet root. If you don’t have a high speed blender you can use a food processor, however you may need to add some extra water to make it move, and scrape down the sides regularly.

This one is supposed to be the best raw hummus:

Raw Hummus
Contributed by: Shayla Roop

1 c. chick pea sprouts (sprouted overnight)
Juice of 1 lemon or lime (I prefer lime)
2 T. fresh orange juice
1 clove garlic
2 T. raw tahini
Optional seasonings: ground cumin, spike or sea salt to taste, chives, paprika, cayenne pepper

Blend all of the ingredients. Add water to thin to desired consistency.

Very delicious spread on leafy greens or red bell pepper strips or even celery. Enjoy!

Falafel Balls:
2 cup sunflower seeds, unsoaked
1 cup corriander, chopped
½ teaspoon ground cumin
couple pieces onion
2 tablespoon tahini
squeeze of lemon
2 cloves garlic
1 pinch sea salt
Preparation:

In a blender, Grind sunflower seeds into fine powder first. Soaking these seeds would be best, but you don’t have to. Then just add all other ingredients.

Swiped from Gone Raw. This was really good on greek salads.

Sounds tasty. Do they need any cooking?
