That's my kind of pyramid! :agree:
Quite unlike the one I am now very embarrassed to admit I (wrongly) taught to children in schools many, many years ago. :o

Yay! :eat:
On a more serious note, it does seem like a lot of bread, though. I wonder if it just depends on the individual? :rubchin:

I think it does, Peas. Although I would focus on more whole grains rather than even really good healthy breads, some people do better with fewer grains, and more starchy vegetables.

I like it but personally, I *do* put veggies on the bottom and then beans and legumes next with whole grains in then next layer, fruits next and then nuts etc. (and B-12) on the top :)

We should probably have more than one food pyramid. I don't think you can go wrong with making vegetables the base. Of all the foods listed on the pyramid, the only ones you really can't overeat are fresh vegetables!

That's makes a lot of sense. I have a problem, though, that in practice my food pyramid is upside-down from this!
What would be good, generally speaking, for those on mostly raw food diet?? Is this good?
-top-
B12/other (like agave nectar etc)
fruits/nuts
beans/sprouts
veggies
-bottom-
This is what I want:  ....is that bad?
B12/other
beans/sprouts
nuts/veggies
fruit

But where's the essential zone for chocolate!

Yes, rainbow, I noticed that this crucial part is missing!
I have also seen some pyramids that have exercise on the bottom... I like that :)

That is nice, except I don't eat exercise. :D
