I finally bought a 3-in-1 scanner/printer/copier but I haven't quite figured it out yet :dizzy: and I tried to post a couple of photographs without success.
I don't know if I have made a mistake while scannng them or if I made a mistake while trying to upload them here.

Could some kind person please explain in really simple terms how it's done? I'm a luddite.

I promised Seymour I'd post a photo or two of my little (feline) girl after he asked so nicely.

Thanks in advance. :friends:

If your photos are now stored in a folder on your computer, you should be able to open a "post reply' window here, and scroll down to where it says "manage attachments". Clicking on that will open a window with a browse button. Clicking the browse button should open a window with the folder you have your photos stored in. Select one, and then press "submit". Close the attachment window, press the "submit" button to submit your post, and the picture should appear with the post. If it doesn't work, it is probably because the picture is too big. If you don't have a photo editor to resize it, I believe there are some abvailable for downloading. You can also try an image-hosting place like www.photobucket.com. They have easy to follow instructions, and offer a free service (I pay for mine). If all else fails, email them to me, and make a post. I can then go in and add them myself to your post.
Seymour is looking forward to seeing your pictures!

I was going to reply to this question this morning but I had to rush off to work.

Fortunately Fauxmage got there first and has done a better job of explaining the process than I would have.

I will just add one point (so that I feel useful and needed :D ). When you preview your post the picture doesn't appear with the text. It only materialises when you finally submit the post. (This confused me when I first tried to post pics. :o )

Thank you both very much. I'm going to have one go at posting a photo tonight ... but if it doesn't work, I'll try again when I'm more awake.

Fingers crossed!

It worked. :cheer: Her photo is in the Animals in Our Lives board. :excited:

Many thanks. :psmooch:

I'll post a couple more when I get them cleaned up - they are old photos and a bit faded.
