I keep seeing these ads on the telly that try and get you to buy tinned cat food made out of fishes bodies.
What is it with these people, surely fish is not what cat's would eat in the wild, surely they eat rodent and birds an insects.
What do cat people think, oh and others if you like:gay:

My Seymour actually likes water, so I suppose if he were very good at hunting he might catch a small fish. But certainly not deep ocean fish like tuna which are ten times his size. And yet, all my nutty cats are wild for Tuno, which isn't even a small fish, but a vegan version of tuna. :dizzy:

I have read that cats have many tastebuds that would have them detect the tase of flesh very well, so I could imagine that a cat might like the smell and taste of a fish, but how did it come about that people wanted to get them to eat fish when it is likley not to be their natural food
whaddaya think then

I don't think any canned cat food is made of their 'natural' food. Like the beef and chicken flavors. Yeah, I can see a cat jumping on a cow's back and start gnawing on it....
However, my cats do like the seafood flavors best.
I buy them a brand of holistic cat food called Eagle Pack, and as some of the MAIN ingrediants they have carrots, peas, potatoes, cranberries, and kelp. That's really not their 'natural' food either, but I'm getting fruits and veggies in their diet! The one I'm looking at right now also has rolled oats and flaxseed in it.
