What is your Rhinoceros made out of???

Thanks terra! He is made of Sculpy. He is tiny. I made him in the style of Netsuke, and gave him to my dad, who has him sitting under a bonsai tree. :)

Thanks terra! I rubbed some brown stain into the cracks to make him look aged. his feet are stained from sitting in the soil though. My dad has had him for a long time. :)

Yes, I have done in the past, but I have given them all away. I have a few pictures, but I have lost track of them in storage. There isn't enough room on the boat to keep everything. I wish I had time to do more creative stuff now. I don't do as much as I used to. :sigh:

Gourds come in all kinds of yellows, oranges, greens, tans, and even nearly black. They always show up in stores in the fall along with the Indian corn. Don't you get gourds in the UK? They are lots of fun. The very first seeds I ever planted were gourds.

Thanks SeaWillow! Well, the older kids like them, but the tiny ones think they are alive, and don't want to get too close. I had one set atop a suit of stuffed clothes, on a garden bench one Halloween, and the parents all wanted their little trick-or-treaters to sit on the bench next to it and be photographed. They wouldn't do it until I sat next to it myself and promised nothing would happen!
