Anyone in the UK?

Tesco have emailed me a MASSIVE list of EVERY vegan friendly product they own!

If anyone would like to see it please let me know!

Jenny

I forgot to check if they replied to my e-mail. They hadn't the last time I checked. Not sure now which e-mail account I used.

It might be a good idea to start a thread and put it in that. There is a similar thread, with long lists of vegan things, somewhere on the forum but I can't find it.

Where should I post it?

Are you from the UK? x

Perhaps in the following thread:

Yes, I'm in the UK.

How did the big Saturday Vegan Day go?

Just great- I actually started Friday, although I was disgusted last night having realised that Quorn has eggwhites in it!!! OMG!! I have written to them this morning to highlight my horror and ask that they make it clearer that they are not suitable for vegans!

So technically I have not been vegan for Sunday and Monday as I have had Quorn. Gross! I felt sick!

Anyway- having cut most stuff out- I feel great! Lost some weight, no lethargy- no bags under my eyes, no tummy probs!

For lunch- Houmous carrot and spinnach sandwich!! mmmm! can't wait! x

The sandwich sounds nice. I'll be having toast.

I'd love to see that list! There's a Tesco in the town next to mine...would be quite interesting and helpful! :) Thanks! :)

This might be the same one:

www.animalcrackers.org.uk/vegan%20information%20images/Tesco%20Vegan%2BJune%2B2010.pdf

But it says it shouldn't be used after August, 2010. Most things will still be vegan but some might not be after that date.

There's also this:

http://www.isitveggie.com/tesco/index.html

And they have put some recipes up as well:

I live in Bangkok and our Tesco here has almost 0 vegan products. I would kill for your selection!

My brother works in a supermarket and he got talking to a guy who had been vegan for years and wanted to know where the Quorn was. My bro had to break the news to the guy that Quorn wasn't vegan. Poor chap.
