Anyway she said sorry and said it must of been a different brand as other 'Nice' biscuits don't have pus sorry I mean stolen calfs milk in them.

Anymore mistakes like this and she will be getting a Christmas gift worth only £5.

That sucks. Mum gave me a non-Vegan naan bread once and I knew straight away. In my case though, it's because usually my bread is plain and theirs has coconut and raisins in it so it was easy to work out. She apologised for that.

Yeah it just shows how quickly your taste buds can detect milk when you don't consume it. Luckily I did not swallow!

I have been known to stretch to £10 English pounds before! :)

With the credit crunch I will go to £7.50 max (including wrapping). :o

They used to be called Nasty Biscuits but no one bought them. So they changed the name to Nice and people started buying them. A classic marketing ploy.

I'm in the happy position of not buying presents at all. Christmas costs me no more than any other time. Apart from the cards I have to send to stop people calling me a miserable codger.

How come you don't buy presents? Is it by agreement or do you not believe in it or something.

It's a mixture of miserliness and not being the present-giving type.

So your the grumpy uncle type...I see. :rubchin:

What you need is to watch some Christmas movies like 'Elf', 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' , 'The Santa Clause', 'Scrooged', 'It's a Wonderful Life'. To really get you in the mood and before you know it you will be buying gifts for everyone!

Merry Christmas! :hug::colors::psmooch::curtsey::yea:

I like Scrooged. That's the one with Bill Murray, isn't it? I like the song.

And I like It's a Wonderful Life.

And A Christmas Carol, starring Alistair Sym.

Happy Easter, to you.
