I met the founder of this group last weekend at a fundraiser for NJARA (New Jersey Animal Rights Alliance, www.nj-ara.org). I am not a Christian but I thought this information would be useful for those who are and are interested in the connection between the bible and our treatment of animals. This event, http://www.all-creatures.org/gcm/events.html, is free if you register before April 28th. My husband will be attending as he is interested in the topics being presented. The website, http://www.all-creatures.org/gcm/index.html, is extremely useful if you encounter those omni's who like to state, "The bible tells us that God gave humans dominion over animals which means we can do what we want with them" etc..

Very interesting site, although sadly many C of E's would be very intollerant to its message even coming from their own people. :(

I, too, was thinking that many 'religious' people could read the information on this site and come up with many justifications as to why it doesn't apply to them or their religion. As vegans know, people will come up with any reason to continue exploiting/harming animals. :sigh:
