I am getting more into increasing the amount of raw food in my diet daily. Fruit is easy to increase through extra smoothies, juices etc but in the colder days in the UK its difficult to think of cold raw veggies being attractive.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to increase raw daily?

Thanks.

I love smoothies too, although I admit bought ones are more appealing than the ones I'm offered at home with spirulina in (it tastes of fish shops  ).
As for raw food at other times why not have a big salad and treat yourself with half a baked potato maybe :rubchin: what do you think?
Can you create a dip, for some veg sticks, once dipped they could also be dipped in to a mixture of seeds (afterall mustn't forget about those omega number must we! )

I have been eating more and more raw food lately and wondered about whether I could carry on during the winter months. So my family are treating me to a 'Raw Food for beginners' weekend in November (asked for my Christmas present early this year :) :hungry: I thought I would get some ideas for

How not to put on loads of weight over Christmas
How to make yummy fresh foods even during the winter months

It's so easy in the summer when there are lots of lovely fresh fruits and salads to have and home grown vegetables but not in the cold dark winter months. So I thought I would get some help from an 'expert'.

Thanks for that link, Starry - the weekend looks wonderful, have a great time.

Good site!

You are right, Summer seems easier to deal with having 'cold raw' food than the winter brrrrrr :monarch:
