I got some Soy Bleu. I wanted to make a blue cheese dressing out of it, by mixing some Vegenaise, a little coconut milk, salt, and freshly cracked pepper with crumbled up Soy Bleu. It was pretty good! I figured when I opened the package and it smelled like dirty feet it would be fairly authentic tasting, though I can't say I was ever a huge fan of blue cheese. I was more of a pasteurized processed cheese food fan. :shy:

Their Soy Feta is what's currently making an appearing in my avatar as the fauxmage du jour. Ooh la la! :flirt:

I don't miss cheese, really... probably because I've already eaten a lifetime supply. :D

I don't either, and I don't actually eat much vegan cheese. I just thought that calling it "fauxmage" was such terribly clever word coinage that I needed to showcase it in my username. The avatars naturally need to coordinate. :p :o

I am fan of Pure's Cheese slices at the moment. They work well on pizza's and burgers. They also melt quite nicely for vegan cheese.

Never seen them. Probably because I haven't looked. How much is a pack?

I can't find pure cheese slices anywhere even though I have a money off voucher for them...the cream cheese however is awful.

Is soy bleu available in the UK?

I am not sure how much they cost but I guess about £1. If it's vegan I grab it like its a cabbage patch doll in the 80's.

Try larger branches of Morrisons. They have now also started stocking some Redwoods stuff. Most be Heather Mills pushing the brand into supermarkets.

Us and Canada only so far. Maybe they will branch out some day.

Perhaps Heather Mills will buy them out.

I quite like the idea of Heather Mills becoming a tyrant of the vegan food world. Buying up all these small independent companies in some sort of grand vegan food domination plan. :)

Or perhaps I am confusing that with some sort sexual deviancy. :zip:

Well our morrisons is fairly large and they stock redwoods hot dogs, but not seen any pure slices so far.

That's because I keep buying them all. ;)
