My number one recommendation for trying out raw eating is the book "80/10/10" by Doug Graham. I've read nearly a dozen books on raw diets, and like his the best. I am not 100% raw anymore, but I follow Graham's approach for the bulk of my diet. It makes more sense than anything else I have read. And I overcame my dangerously high blood sugar by following this way of eating.
But do go to your library and see what books are available.

Good luck with your raw diet. But I couldn't do without toast.

But that's still cooked bread. I also like cooked water flavoured with tea leaves.

I make very nice raw tea. I just stick some tea in a big jug, fill it with water, and stick it in the fridge. The next morning, its become a lovely raw tea. :agree:
I also do this, and put the jug in the sun first. That is good too. :yum:

I made some raw cashew cheese recently and have to say I thought it was delicious!
I think adopting a fully raw diet would be a bit difficult with my hectic schedule but I'm pretty convinced it is extremely beneficial for health if followed correctly.

There are some delicious-looking cakey things there. And there'll be no having to wait for the cake to rise as the gas bill mounts up.

Very true gliondrach, I've never eaten raw cake but apparently it is delicious.
