Gliondrach
08-07-2009, 04:29 PM
I just say names over and over again to see if they sound like something else. Or I think of some vegan food and try to find a name that sounds a bit like that.

08-10-2009, 05:32 AM

Celery (Hilary) Clinton.

There's also Barak Banana, but I heard that mentioned on a telly programme. And I've used that fruit before. Not that one can't use a fruit more than once. Just make sure it is not for the same name.

Are there any famous-ish Marjories? Because margarine comes to mind. See if anyone can come up with a person before I, the undisputed world champion, manage to do so.

Gliondrach
08-13-2009, 06:18 AM
I've thought of a Marjorie. As well as margarine there is also marjoram.

Walnut (Walter) Scott, the writer chappie.

Sosmix (Tom Mix), the cowboy actor chappie.

What about Marjorie? I'll give someone else a chance. But not for much longer.

I just thought of that one before coming here. :grumble:

Gliondrach

You were going to post it? Better luck next time.

Just thought of one. Decided to think of one about two minutes ago. Ran through a few names - including Ronald Vegan (Reagan) if you pronounce his name as Regan. But I don't want to associate him with veganism. Just mentioned it to show how clever I am. Then I thought of Jekyll and Hyde. Couldn't think of anything for him/them. Then I thought of Rossetti, the painter. And risotto came to mind. So we have:

Dante Gabriel Risotto.
