I picked a bag of gari (cassava root flour) in Morrisons the other day.

An ideas how to use it? I've tried goggle but wasn't very impressed with the few recipes.

I could be wrong, but think casssave is mostly starch? So the flour you have would be mostly used like one would use corn-starch?

I've had (whole) cassave before and it's a bit like potatoes to me.

I looked up cassava root recipes, and found that it is what tapioca is made from. I love tapioca pearls, and I have some tapioca flour I was going to experiment with to make a vegan royal icing.

Then I looked up gari, and got hits for a kind of ginger used in sushi.

I think gari in japan is ginger kind and gari in africa is the cassava kind. Something I learnt from goggle. But still no closer as to working out what to do with it. I'm always picking up unusual ingredients and trying to find something to make with them. Help pleaseee or I may have to start experimenting again :craziest:
