Not sure wheres best to post about this so thought Id put it here:

A local to me vegan run animal sanctuary Hillfields in Bromsgrove, Worcs will be having an open day and Christmas fayre on Sun 23rd November 11-3.

http://www.hillfields-animal-sanctuary.com/

Lots of stalls, vegan food - including I believe burgers, soup, and cake:thumbsup:

Also weather permitting a chance to meet some of the sanctuary animals.

Items for the stalls may also be needed and help on the day would be wonderful, Il be working on one of the stalls all day (doing the tombola I think all vegan prizes) -help setting up/tidying away and on the stalls is also needed.

Really worthwhile event - please support if your able to get there, the website has info on the animals and animal adoption schemes there.

Really looking forward to this:)

I hope you can go be a great day there, just hoping for dry weather so lots of people turn up!

I managed to collect lots of goodies for the tombola prizes at the end of the Wolves vegan festival - stall holders were great - got to go to friends house in the week to sort the prizes out (will have to ignore the jars of dairy free choc spread, plamil bars etc...)

Am hoping lots of people off the vegan/rescue forums go and Im busy leafleting at work (a college) work friends have said they will go. Gave out leaflets at the Wolves fest too.

All money raised will go to buy feed etc for the animals over the christmas spell:applause:

Despite the weather and mud this went really well today, the hall was packed all day and lots of money was raised for the sanctuary hopefully:thumbsup:

The tombola I helped with made £50 and the raffle of top items made around £85, friends stall made £185:):yea:

I went up to see some of the animals and lots of people braved the mud to meet the residents!

Il post a few pics later on:)

Worn out now as such a cold wet day, but well worth it, next one spring time hopefully!
