This time of year most people get colds however i have found in the last few years i get them less often. I do not do anything special like taking vitamins or anything else. I have also found they do not last as long 48 hours maximum when i get sneezing and watery eyes. I had one over the last 48 hours and it is now almost gone. All i did was stay home drink blackcurrant cordial (hot) and eat veg soup. I dont suffer from blocked up noses for weeks on end like meat eaters seem to do. Has anyone else noticed they suffer less from colds by being vegan or is it just me?

I find the same thing, goodeone. :agree: I can be surrounded by infected people and manage to get away with either no cold symptoms or very mild, short-term ones.

yep.

At least that's sort of my experience too.

And I have read/heard it more often that vegan don't get sick that easily or that they recover more quickly. A vegan diet also seems to have it's benefits for people who have asthma problems.

I rarely get ill and, when I do, it is only mild and doesn't last long.

Same here but when I do get sick I hate to admit it for fear of people thinking I'm sick because I'm vegan.
