Oz has a new Prime Minister

Australia has a new Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd. :woohoo:
[Labor party - left wing - similar to US Democrats].

For the first time in history, Australia has a Labor govt. in every state / territory as well as federally.

And our new Prime Minister has just ratified the Kyoto protocol. :cheer:

It's a good start. :agree: Let's hope he continues the good work. :) Saying 'sorry' to the Aboriginal people and helping Sea Shepherd in the fight against the Japanese whalers would be good follow-ups. :rubchin:
