Removing meat grease?

Have a bit of a problem at the moment, in that someone in my kitchen at uni decided to use my colander to drain something really disgusting... I found it in a cupboard yesterday covered in grease and bits, my boyfriend smelt it and said it smells like meat and washed it for me, 3 times, and its still greasy!!!!!!

Anyone have any idea how to clean this?? Im so mad about it :tantrum:

:blecch:What a vile thing to do to a vegan's belonging.

Try baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and white vinegar. Sprinkle the baking soda on the colander and then put the vinegar on a wipe and wipe it down. It will foam but it cleans like nothing else.
