We do have 7 out of the 14 items though I'd personally not have a home computer and high speed internet if it was my choice. I'd also eliminate a tv.

The only things I don't have at home are high speed internet (though I have it at work), an ipod, and a flat screen TV. I guess I'm spoiled:whistle: But I do think most of those things are luxuries...except in most of the U.S., w/o a car you'd be SOL:(

What a joke the whole thing

The only things that are necessities are keeping warm food and water

And then people wonder why we have a global warming problem

I do about 5 on the list but they are not necessities

I try and do my bit i.e. when not using lights turn them off as well as always turn the TV off stand by

Car : I have one cause it's much easier to visit my mum that way, she lives 100 miles away. I go to work on my bicycle and regularly don't drive the car in two or three weeks.

Clothes washer : have one

Clothes dryer : don't have one, don't want one.

Home Airco : don't have or want one, I do have a ceiling fan some where (packed) though.

Microwave : no

TV set : yes, a simple one and the remote isn't working anymore

Car airco: No, and wouldn't want one either

Home computer : would find it hard to live without it :o

Cell phone : made a mistake a few years ago, so I have one. I call for max 15 dollar a year with it.

Dishwasher : no

Cable tv : yes, I've got cable, partly cause you're not allowed to place a disk or antenna on the building.

High speed internet : I'm addicted, need I say more? ;)

Flat screen tv: what's the hype with that anyway?

Ipod: got something simular, but don't use it that often.

Car : Sold it years ago. Walk most places now. Do plan on getting a car in the future (once I move to prefered area). :)

Clothes washer : Yes. :yea:

Car: I have to have one to make my living with. I can't take a gang of dogs to the park on a bike, or a bus. :o

Clothes washer: No.

Clothes dryer: No.

Home air-con: Yes, a window unit. Leaving the animals here on the boat without one in the summer would be like leaving them in a car parked in the sun all day. So for me its really not a luxury.

Microwave: No.

TV: Yes.

Car air-con: No.

Home computer: Yes.

Cell phone: Yes. I was a long term hold out on that though. Almost as long as I held out on getting an answering machine. I use it for work-related calls or emergencies.

Dishwasher: No.

Cable TV: No.

High speed Internet: No.

Flat screen TV: Yes, my TV is the tiniest flat screen model they had. It takes up less room on my boat.

Ipod: No.
