How to Use the MultiQuote Function

Clicking on the "MultiQuote" button won't open a posting window. What happens is, when you click on it, it changes color, indicating that the post you've clicked it in will be quoted when you open a posting window by clicking on "Post Reply". So, you need to press the "MultiQuote" button in every post you wish to quote. When all the "MultiQuote" buttons are highlighted, click on "Post Reply", just as if you were making a regular post, and all the posts whose buttons you clicked will appear in the posting window. They work in all the skins I've updated so far, at least they do for me.

If you change your mind about a post you tried to multiquote, just click the highlighted "MultiQuote" button, and it will go back to normal, and the post will not be quoted in your reply.

At the risk of adding to the current problems, BWM, :( I did all that (on Saturday) and it didn't work!

I haven't tried since then, though. Perhaps it will work next time. :crossfingers:

Hopefully the upgrade has fixed it, and the problems some of you were having with Quick Reply too. Please do try and let me know. These functions have always worked for me, so I need others to confirm whether the problems are fixed.

I always thought that if there was a bug in the forum software that it would affect everyone. Its puzzling that that is not the case. Maybe there is something to do with how a browser interacts with the forum that affects this. I'm not very savvy about this kind of thing.
