Sounds delicious. Does it have to be refrigerated?

Yes, it does. The company overnighted it to me and I could do the same.
I have no idea how much the cheese costs but I'll find out next week.

They are carrying more of the Field Roast line at my local Whole Foods. I had the Italian Sausage for the first time over the weekend. :yum: I hope the cheese shows up soon, it sounds yummy.

In perusing their website, I see that there is a Wild Oats store in San Anselmo, which is just over the GG Bridge a ways. I've always wanted to shop in one, but I never knew there were any nearby. So many hardcore vegans hate Whole Foods for their work on improving conditions for the animals whose dead bodies they sell I feel guilty shopping there. But then I think of the options available if I don't shop at Whole Foods, like Safeway, Albertsons, Lunardis, and they don't give a shit about any aspect of what happens to the animals whose bodies they sell, and I wonder just where I am supposed to go shopping? There's no such thing as a market that sells nothing but vegan goods, and if there were, I probably wouldn't be able to afford what they sold anyway. :sigh:

OMG, that looks so good, and it melts too!:) I've tried their deli slices which I wasn't so crazy about. I'm a Tofurky fan, but I will definetely give the cheese a try.:)

I didn't care for the deli slices either but I really like the field roast Wild Mushroom "roast". We're going to have some of their "meatloaf" tonight. I'll report back.
